hot water bottle knitting pattern
Does anyone have a very simple hot water bottle cover knitting pattern?
I would like to make a hot water bottle cover for a friend, but I am new to the knitting game. I can't knit in the round, so would like a pattern that is knitted flat and then stitched. I just want to make and send the cover, not make one where i have to stitch the actual bottle in. I can do knit/purl ribbing, make stripes and knit together to decrease - these are pretty much my only knitting skills! I have only made simple scarves, hats and patchwork blankets before. Anyone have any simple patterns i could use?
